Job Title: Mechanic
As a Mechanic at RJK Equipment, you will be responsible for performing various levels of repair on equipment and maintaining records of services performed. This includes basic servicing, routine maintenance, as well as full diagnostic repair of equipment, with the aim of achieving effective and efficient outcomes.
The ideal candidate should have experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic, with preference given to those with agricultural expertise. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail are essential attributes for the role. The candidate should also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work and travel out of town as required. In addition, the candidate should be available to work weekends and be on call during busy times of the year. Bilingual proficiency would be an added advantage.
The position is hourly paid, with the remuneration commensurate with experience. RKJ Equipment will provide OEM training, with pay increases upon completion of training, as well as specialty equipment training.

Job Title: Parts Specialist | Store Manager
RKJ Equipment is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Parts Specialist | Store Manager to join our team. As a crucial member of our organization, you will oversee the parts counter, ensuring the timely fulfillment of customers’ parts requirements for agriculture, forklift, and pecan harvesting equipment. Additionally, you will manage the store’s parts inventory, while maintaining a clean and presentable store lobby. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, self-motivation, and prior experience.
Responsibilities:
- Effieciently order and stock parts for agriculture, forklift, and pecan harvesting equipment.
- Manage the parts counter, providing assistance to customers and promptly answering phone inquiries.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the store on a daily basis.
- Maintain a well-organized inventory of parts, ensuring they are properly shelved and easily accessible.
- Keep the store clean, presentable, and welcoming to customers
- Verify and maintain accuracy in parts inventory records
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of tractors and related equipment.
- Proficiency in computer skills to manage inventory and process orders
- Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic accounting skills to handle financial transactions.
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, paid vacation, and a 401K plan, available to employees after a probationary period of 90 days.
